Private classes offer a great value because the speed and focus is determined by the clients' needs and interests. Whereas a lawyer may want to learn legal vocabulary, a college student may need to work on literary vocabulary and writing skills, or a nurse may need to practice communicating with patients in role-playing exercises. The goal may be a general knowledge of the language or to hone skills needed for specific ventures.
